Applications. Technologies. Opportunities.
27-28 April, 2016 | Berlin, Germany

Join us for the eighth annual IDTechEx event focused on providing insight into energy harvesting technologies, both high power and low power, and their applications. The event  brings together the complete value chain, from  technology developers to integrators  to end-users, providing insight on market trends, latest products and emerging technology toolkits.

Our mission

  • A complete overview of energy harvesting technologies, their ROI and sectors close to adoption.
  • A focus on commercialization: End users and integrators from a diverse range of markets present their needs, requirements and case studies
  • Competitive and allied technologies covered - from energy harvester choices and energy storage options, through to the latest in low power electronics and wireless sensors
  • Network with potential adopters/ end users and see the current products and state of the technology at the event exhibition.

Application and Technology focus

  • The event assesses the merit of the most important technology developments from world leading companies and research institutes:
  • Energy harvesting technologies, including thermoelectric, piezoelectric, photovoltaic, electromagnetic, wireless power transfer and multi modal versions
  • Novel energy storage technologies; batteries and supercapacitors
  • New manufacturing techniques
  • Ultra low power electronics and power management
  • Applications are as diverse as the technologies that enable them, spanning consumer electronics products, building and industrial automation, automotive applications, RFID, RTLS and WSN at different protocols, all under disruptive overarching paradigms such as the Internet of Things, Smart Cities and The Connected Car.

Co-located events

Energy Harvesting Europe is co-located alongside a series of synergistic events on wearable, sensors, 3D Printing, Graphene and 2D materials and printed electronics. Each of these is a full two-day executive conferences, co-located with a common exhibition. We co-locate these events because there is strong overlap across these topics, exposing you to the full relevant supply chains and customer and supplier bases, saving you time and money from attending separate events.
