講演者の経歴 (Klaus Ackerstaff)

Klaus Ackerstaff obtained the Doctorate Degree in Physics after studying in Hamburg and in the USA.
Klaus Ackerstaff started his professional career at CERN in Geneva where he was appointed fellow physicist. In October 1999 he co-founded Unit.Net AG in Zurich. As CTO he built the
technology platform and expanded the company in 4 new countries (Germany, Spain, Italy and France first and UK later). He soon became COO, VP Technology and Production and finally CEO. In 2003 he lead a major reorganization, merging all country subsidiaries into Virtue Broadcasting Plc., headquartered in London with offices in Frankfurt, Zurich, Madrid and Sydney. After Virtue Broadcasting Plc was taken over by World Television Plc. in August 2004, Klaus Ackerstaff remained Director for the integration period and left the company in May 2005. During 2005 he worked on various consulting mandates before joining Datamars SA in May 2006 as COO. After an introduction period, Klaus Ackerstaff was appointed CEO as of January 1st 2007. Datamars is a leader in providing high quality low cost solutions
based on proprietary technology in two vertical markets: companion animal identification and the rental textile in which it has an installed base of over 650 plants in more than 20
countries. The company was founded in 1988.
