Speaker Biography (Debasis Majumdar)Debasis Majumdar is a Materials Scientist at Eastman Kodak Company. Debasis received his Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University. At Kodak, Debasis has been involved with the development of functional coatings for imaging and display applications. His areas of expertise include antistatic and conductive coatings, optical layers, primers, ink, dye and toner receiving layers, barrier layers, and conveyance layers for flexible media. Debasis's work has led to more than 125 publications as US patents, journal articles and book chapters in various areas of Materials Science, particularly in the fields of conductive coatings and nanocomposites.
