Presentation Summary

Amorphous heavy-metal cation multicomponent oxides constitute a new class of channel materials for transparent thin-film transistors (TTFTs). Several examples from this material class are demonstrated to yield high-performance TTFTs. In addition to transparent electronics, these materials are very attractive for other transparent and non-transparent applications because of their chemical and physical properties, as well as their inherent manufacturability. These attributes bode well for printed electronics applications.

  • Inorganic thin-film transistors
  • Performance and manufacturability
