Speaker Biography (Jason Black)Jason Black is a programme manager at Tube Lines who is involved with managing significant changes in culture, process and technologies within Tube Lines. Prior to joining Tube Lines he was Head of Change at financial services company Aviva, which followed a wider career managing programmes in the sector. Company Profile (Tube Lines)Since 2003 Tube Lines has been maintaining and upgrading the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines under a 30-year contract with London Underground. It is responsible for 320km of track, 255 trains, 101 stations, 2,395 bridges and structures, 227 escalators and 71 lifts. Over 600 million passengers a year use our lines. Innovation is fundamental to the way Tube Lines works. The company's employees constantly look for new, better ways to manage the three lines by inventing new tools, streamlining processes and helping our employees develop so taht they can achieve more. Working here is challenging and demanding yet enriching. |
