Speaker Biography (Marion Schmidt)Marion Schmidt studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University in Dresden, Germany and the ENSIAME in Valenciennes, France and specialized for her masters classes in packaging technology. Since 2004 she works at Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging (IVV) and since 2008 her work is concentrated on the topic of encapsulation for organic electronics. Company Profile (Fraunhofer IVV)Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging (Fraunhofer-IVV) is located in Freising near Munich and has 115 employees and an annual turnover of €8.6 million. The activities in the field of vacuum web coating were started in 1988 as a neutral R&D partner for industry.
