Presentation Summary

• the conductivity of PEDOT:PSS polymers is steadily increased, enhaced formulations are available
• H.C. Starck has set up a range of PEDOT:PSS formulations for inkjet printing HIL- as well as high-conductive layers
• the silkscreen printing of fine lines down to 30-40 µm linewidth could be demonstrated

Speaker Biography (Detlef Gaiser)

Detlef Gaiser is a chemist working at H.C. Starck Leverkusen, Germany. He is a manager for application engineering for CLEVIOS P (PEDOT/ PSS) dispersions and Ampertron™ oligothiophenes for the use in polymer electronics. He obtained his diploma and Ph.D. from the University of Cologne, Germany, studying the "Synthesis and Properties of New Zirconium N-Donor Complexes". In 1998 he joined the Electronic Chemicals group of the Bayer AG, Leverkusen, as a research chemist working on the synthesis of the BAYTRON® M monomer. In 2002 he transferred to H.C. Starck, Leverkusen and worked as a plant manager for colloidal silica. In 2006 he joined the CLEVIOS P application engineering team.
