Speaker Biography (Jon Andresen)

Jon Andresen is the President and Principal Consultant of TechnologySolutions, an international consultancy focusing on business and technology integration including UID, RFID, bar coded part marking, lifecycle part traceability. Recent clients include the Delta Airlines, Zodiac Aerospace, US DoD, Boeing, Honeywell, Northrop Grumman, L-3 Communications, SAP and other major corporations. He worked for over a decade as an IT Technical Architect at United Airlines Maintenance Division where he implemented numerous applications from shipping/receiving to a worldwide, distributed document management system. Andresen also served as the Chair of the ATA Spec 2000 Bar Code Taskforce for nearly two decades, and was the Stocker Visiting Professor at Ohio University in 2002. He has a Master's Degree in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is the author of dozens of magazine articles, consulting reports, and white papers and has spoken at more than 50 industry gatherings worldwide. He is the primary architect and author of the aviation industry's RFID specification, and is now delivering RFID business solutions to both airlines and suppliers.
