Speaker Biography (Joseph Miglionico)Joe Miglionico is Business Development Manager for the Security Printing Division, part of the Industrial Products Group of Avery Dennison. Avery Dennison is a Fortune 500 global adhesives and label manufacturing company headquartered in Pasadena, California. Mr. Miglionico has been with Avery Dennison for over 18 years in a variety of product and marketing management, strategy and business development capacities. Mr. Miglionico's background with Avery includes several years with the Specialty Tape Division, managing a product portfolio including materials for electronics and switch manufacturers both here and in Asia Pacific. He also has several years experience in business development with Avery Dennison's RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Division), where he was responsible for launching both the Department of Defense and Durable RFID tag initiatives. His current role is focused on broadening Avery Dennison's footprint in printed/converted electronics, where the company has background in the mass production of electro-chemical indicators for batteries. Mr. Miglionico holds undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Business Administration from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He also is a co-patent holder for a high security, active RFID device. His career experience also includes marketing and sales management positions in the specialty metal forging, electro-plating, and fluid power industries.
