Speaker Biography

Mike Thompson qualified as a pharmacist in 1981 and worked in R&D for Beecham before joining the NHS. After managing an NHS sterile manufacturing unit for a few years he left pharmacy practice and joined the staff of The Pharmaceutical Journal, becoming assistant editor and now editor of PJ Online. He is the Journal's lead contact for RFID.

Company Profile

The Pharmaceutical Journal is the official journal of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. Launched as a monthly periodical in 1841, it has been published weekly since 1870. It aims to provide comprehensive news coverage on all aspects of pharmacy and to publish original research and articles on pharmaceutical and related subjects. The Journal is circulated free of charge to the Society's 47,000 members, plus subscribers. PJ Online was launched in 1999.
