As RFID Domain Lead, Eelco de Jong is responsible for developing LogicaCMG's RFID services portfolio. Mr. De Jong is a recognized expert in the field of RFID and often consults companies on issues related to the business application of RFID technology. Mr. De Jong has initiated and managed a major study on RFID adoption in the European retail industries and is a frequent speaker at international conferences. In addition, Mr de Jong is a Board Member of the M.I.T. Forum for Supply Chain Innovation in Boston, USA.
 
Mr. De Jong holds a masters degree in Computer Science and an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management in Boston, USA.

Speaker Biography (Eelco L de Jong)

Mr. De Jong is currently Director Marketing & Business Development at Ambient Systems, a provider of third generation active RFID solutions. Ambient's solutions enable companies to improve process quality and efficiency with real-time visibility on the location and condition of physical goods. Prior to Ambient Systems, Mr. De Jong was RFID Domain Lead at Logica, a major international ICT services company. In this role Mr. De Jong was responsible for developing Logica's international RFID services portfolio. At Logica, Mr. de Jong also advised a range of companies on the application of RFID and wireless sensor technology. Mr. De Jong holds a masters degree in Computer Science and an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management in Boston, USA.
