Speaker BiographySteve Liker is Business Manager for Trident Industrial Ink Jet - A Division of ITW. He has more than 28 years of experience in the development and marketing of Piezoelectric Ink Jet for industrial applications. His experience prior to joining Trident-ITW was as an Engineer in the field of ink jet development with Dataproducts. Mr. Liker holds five patents in ink jet technology. He has a B.S. degree in Physics from Upsala College in New Jersey, U S A. Company ProfileTrident is a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of piezoelectric ink jet printheads and inks. Trident was one of the pioneers of industrial ink jet in the early 1980's jetting both liquid inks and hot melt inks. Today, Trident products are used in a variety of applications that require rugged, inert, stainless steel printheads for printing or accurately dispensing fluids reliably and frequently. Trident's printheads are unique in their ability to be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled enabling long life and high degree of return on investment.
Trident printheads are marketed worldwide through original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the carton coding, postal coding, flat panel display manufacturing, printable electronics, wide format printing and digital textile printing markets. OEMs integrate Trident printheads into computer-controlled, application-specific products or systems which are then sold to end users.
Trident's development, manufacturing and administrative headquarters is located in Brookfield, Connecticut, USA. The company also has regional offices in Japan and Ireland.
