DownloadsPresentation Summary
Speaker BiographyMoritz Riede is head of the organic solar cell group at the Institut für Angewandte Photophysik (IAPP) of the TU Dresden. Before moving to Dresden, he studied physics at the University of Cambridge, UK, and obtained his PhD degree in 2006 from the University of Konstanz for his thesis on "Investigation and Analysis of the Key Parameters in Organic Solar Cells", which he carried out at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE and the Freiburg Materials research centre FMF. After his PhD he joined the research group of Prof. Karl Leo at the IAPP in 2007 and his research focus is on small molecule based organic solar cells. Company ProfileThe Institut für Angewandte Photophysik is one of the leading institutes for organic semiconductor and device research. Topics range from basic research on growth and optic to work on devices such as OLED and solar cells. The IAPP has spun of a number of companies in the field, including Novaled AG and Heliatek GmbH.
