Speaker Biography (Frank Schmidt)

Frank is a pioneer and veteran in energy harvesting wireless solutions. At the Central Research Department of Siemens AG he created energy harvesting solutions as early as 1995. At EnOcean he acts as the creator of new concepts as well as coordinating the advanced research and patent activities. He has been granted more than 40 patents for his energy harvesting inventions and is the author of numerous technical publications in this field. Frank is a Physicist and studied at the Technical University of Chemnitz, Germany.
