Speaker Biography (Marco Ulrich)

Dr. Marco Ulrich is a Principal Scientist at the ABB Corporate Research Center in Ladenburg, Germany. In his role as research area coordinator for autonomous devices he currently focuses on wireless sensor systems and energy harvesting technologies. He studied physics at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany (now KIT) and University Uppsala, Sweden with the main focus on solid state optics and electron-spin resonance. In 2007 he received his PhD degree at the German Cancer Research Center, University of Heidelberg in medical NMR spectroscopy.
