Robert Miller, CTO: Dr Miller, Materials Physicist, is a veteran of taking complex electronic materials and devices into high volume production, with many years at HP and HP Labs where he was an inventor on core patents in the inkjet platform. In his last position, as head of R&D at MTI MicroFuel Cells, his creative insights led to several key patents.

The Paper Battery Company's product is a scalable printed and flexible sheet of energy storage material, leveraging existing supercapacitor technology, to make a long lived, structurally integrated material. The breakthrough of the PowerWrapper™ technology platform, invented in the company, is a unique method of tying the components together so that the integrated device sheet can be scaled in size without any casing. The ultra-thin, scalable form factor with high voltage and power opens new market applications- from powering portable electronics to grid level storage. The company will bring to market technology that is directed at the future needs for energy storage where moldable sheets of super-capacitors and batteries that efficiently meet power and energy demands will disappear into the body of the device that needs to be powered.
