Speaker Biography (Morten Schaldemose)

Morten Schaldemose serves as CEO of SunFlake A/S. He has +15 years experience in the energy technology business. Before joining SunFlake Morten was heading technology licensing in Haldor Topsøe A/S, an international catalyst and technology company serving the energy, petrochemical and chemical industries. Morten holds a M.Sc. in Chemical engineering from The Technical University of Denmark and an Executive MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD, France.

SunFlake A/S is dedicated to the development and commercialization of a patent protected nano sized high efficiency solar cell that will provide higher efficiencies (>50% conversion efficiency) at considerably lower cost than conventional III-V solar cells and having a higher acceptance angle to the incoming light. SunFlake is a venture backed spin-off company from the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen.
