Speaker Biography (Richard Price)

Richard Price is Nano ePrint's VP of Product Management and has been involved since the company's inception. He is an experienced business manager and project leader in emerging technology commercialisation covering electronics, materials and chemistry. During his previous role (Venture Manager at UMIP) he developed a successful track-record in spinning out new companies, and securing early stage investment and development funding. In that time he worked with companies such as CableSense with secondments to Arvia Technology and Nano ePrint, which he joined full-time in 2009. Prior to that Richard worked with OLED start-up ELAM-T. Richard was a triple prize winner at Durham University from where he holds an honours Bachelor degree and PhD in Chemistry.

Company Profile (Nano ePrint)

Nano ePrint was formed in 2006 following pioneering research at the University of Manchester in the UK. Nano ePrint's technology enables planar nanoelectronic circuits that can uniquely be fabricated in a single layer of semiconductor via single-step patterning. Nano ePrint's devices achieve very high speeds while dramatically reducing circuit size and simplifying manufacture. Nano ePrint has also developed a configurable circuit architecture to deliver the world's first printed programmable logic circuits, allowing one circuit to simultaneously address multiple applications. The Nano ePrint approach opens up prospects for low-cost, high-performance printed electronics across a wide range of market opportunities.
