Speaker Bio

Mike Braatz, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
 
Mike is responsible for shaping PanGo's strategic direction with business development, marketing and product management leadership. Previously, Braatz was a Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development at Optiant. There, he helped launch the company into the supply chain optimization marketplace, built the company's strategic partnerships and was instrumental in all customer and go-to-market campaigns designed to enhance the company's market leadership position.
 
Prior to Optiant, Mike was a consultant at Bain & Company, where he helped companies in the wireless, software and manufacturing industries create new strategies and new programs in sales, marketing, production and distribution. Earlier in his career Mike spent five years with the U.S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of Captain and was decorated for outstanding performance. His achievements included managing a comprehensive upgrade of the communications and networking systems on the Vice-Presidential aircraft fleet, Air Force Two. He also supervised the development of a next-generation GPS-enabled voice and data communication system for aircrews worldwide.
 
Mike earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
