Presentation Summary

Company Profile (Flexible Display Roll to Roll Research Center(FDRC))

Flexible Display Roll to Roll Research Center(FDRC), founded in 1995 and financially supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government , the Ministry of Science and Technology, and many companies, constructed the e-Printing Cluster and the KU-VTT Joint Lab in 2006 and 2007 respectively with over 150 researchers. FDRC seeks matching technologies to make technology convergence possible among ink, substrate, patterning, process, control, and system integration. Matching technology includes impedance matching, chemical matching, time matching, geometric matching, etc. With this technology, roll-to-roll manufacturing systems for the printed devices are designed and manufactured with the companies that are collaborating with FDRC.
