Speaker Biography (David Briers)Prior to his current job, David first obtained a master's degree in Chemistry at the University of Leuven in 2001. After that, by the end of 2006, he obtained a PhD degree also at the University of Leuven. The research involved synthesis and characterization of polymers to be used for second-order non-linear optical applications. Currently, David works as a lead development chemist at Henkel Electronic Materials. His work focuses mainly on the development of adhesives and sealants for display applications where the emphasis lies on UV and low temperature cure chemistry with superior moisture barrier properties.
