New Consumer Services with RFID

Young Bin Cho is a RFID/USN Park Leader of LG innotek Co., Ltd. R&D center Dept. #1. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Kyunghee University in Korea.

 

He previously attended the Project of 2.4GHz & 5.8 GHz RFID solution developments at Korea Electronic Technologies Institute, the Project of microwave Antenna simulator development and worked as a Senior Consultant at R&BD, Inc.

 

He is playing an active part in a committee member of Standardization of RFID Application and Security WG(PG311) in RFID/USN Project Group of TTA(Telecommunications Technology Associate)

 

His current research interests include issues related to the applications of embedded wireless networked RFID solution and the novel modulation technology for high speed RFID. He is also interested in the development of mobile RFID H/W Platform and the Ubiquitous Sensor Network solution as the view of the H/W supplier.
