Libor Kotačka, Ph.D. - graduated in Engineering Physics from the Technical University in Brno, Czech Republic. He has worked in industry in Canada between 2001 and 2003, spent a postdoctoral fellowship with the Functional Coating and Engineering Laboratory at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal from 2003 to 2004. He pursues his career as a manager of R&D at Optaglio, s.r.o. a fast growing company developing and manufacturing optical security devices.

Optaglio s.r.o. is a member of international group of companies Optaglio Group; together with Optaglio Limited (Great Britain) and Metallic Security (Czech Republic). Optaglio s.r.o. is specializing in the development and production of optical security devices and holograms. The production is based on its own long-term research and development. This way Optaglio s.r.o. is moving the limits of the security technologies based on the optical devices and enlarges the portfolio of new security products against counterfeiting.
