Speaker Biography (Giles Lloyd)

Dr. Giles Lloyd has worked in the field of organic electronics for 13 years including receiving a PhD from the University of Liverpool specializing in thin film transistor design and development using organic semiconductors. For the last 8 years he has worked on material and process development at Avecia and more recently, Merck following the acquisition of the Avecia group in March 2005. His role involved material development and device optimization leading on to customer project management where he now works closely with Merck's global customer base to optimize and improve Merck's material and formulation offerings in the Organic Electronics industry.
