講演者の経歴 (Kasiraman Krishnan)

Dr. Krishnan is a Lead Engineer at the General Electric Global Research Center in Niskayuna, NY. Prior to joining GE he earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota, after his B.S. from IIT Bombay, India. Dr. Krishnan's areas of specialization are Polymer Materials Science, Printed Electronics, Sensors and Nanotechnology. He has 27 patent applications and 11 journal publications to his credit.
 
In his six years with GE, Dr. Krishnan has led multi-disciplinary teams and enabled the transition of three products from conceptual stage to pilot scale manufacturing. He is Six Sigma green belt certified. His research areas at GE include printed sensor devices, media security, superhydrophobic surfaces and polymer nanolithography. Dr. Krishnan's graduate thesis work was on polymer rheology and nanotechnology. He is the recipient of 2003 Society of Rheology Publication Award and President Silver Medal at IIT Bombay.
