Dr. Juergen Wahl is director in the area of display technologies (mainly LCD) at Optrex Europe GmbH in Babenhausen, Germany, which is developing and mass producing high performance LCD devices especially for the automotive market. He is also responsible for the German OLED development project "CARO". Dr. Wahl is member of different display related organisations and is long time member of the board of the German Flat Panel Display Forum (DFF).

Optrex Europe GmbH (OEG), based in Babenhausen/Hessen, is a manufacturer and supplier of tailor-made liquid crystal displays and modules that markets and sells its products throughout the world.The foundations for the successful development of these products were laid in Germany as early as 1978.
