Speaker Biography (Thomas Kolbusch)Thomas Kolbusch is Vice President of Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH. He is member of the board of the OE-A and leads the working group "Up-scaling Production - from Lab to Fab". He is active in the field of fuel cells, batteries, flexible electronics and photovoltaic. He organizes the Coatema Coating Symposium and works in several BMBF-funded R&D projects and an EU-project on flexible electronics. Thomas Kolbusch studied Business Economics at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. Company Profile (Coatema Coating Machinery)Coatema Coating manufactures coating and laminating plants and has been delivering for more than 30 years solutions for the most different markets like textile, foil, paper and renewable energies and printed electronics. These solutions may consist of small lab coating plants, of pilot plants as well as of turn-key production plants for the coating and laminating of roll-to-roll substrates. One of Coatema´s areas, the R&D solutions, deals with the service for coating and laminating like the Coatema´s R&D Centre with more than 10 pilot plants and one production plant. This large range of services is completed by an annual coating symposium. |
