Speaker Biography (Robert Koeppe)

After studies in physics at LMU Munich, University of Nottingham and CERN, Robert Koeppe graduated 2002 with work on organic photodetectors. He continued research on organic and organic-inorganic hybrid photoactive systems at LMU Munich and JKU Linz, getting his PhD in 2007 with work on light harvesting techniques for organic solar cells. Afterwards he was for two years research assisstant at the Department of Soft Matter Physics at JKU Linz and in parallel started the spin-off company project isiQiri in summer 2008. Since the legal establishment in September 2009, he is CSO of isiQiri interface technologies GmbH.

Company Profile (isiQiri interface technologies GmbH)

isiQiri interface technologies is a High-Tech-Startup in Hagenberg / Upper Austria. isiQiri is based on research carried out at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich / Germany and the Johannes-Kepler-University in Linz / Austria. As a university spin-off we continue to work closely together with research facilities in Upper Austria.

isiQiri develops, produces and commercializes large-area optical sensors that can detect input from light spots (laser pointers) as well as by touch (fingers or pen) based on the patented Q-Foil-technology.

Our vision is to help our customers to add interactivity to their products. Thus we facilitate new ways of human-machine-interaction.
