Speaker CVSimon Palinkas, Radio Barcode Programme Manager, Tesco Stores Limited Simon Palinkas is Radio Barcode Programme Manager for Tesco Stores Limited. Tesco is the UKs largest supermarket and one of the worlds leading retailers. Simon has over 12 years experience in the IT industry and is now responsible for Tesco's leading Radio Barcode programme. Simon is currently in charge of implementing and trialling Radio Barcode technology at Tesco distribution centres and at the back of stores across the UK. His role includes establishing ways of working with Tesco's suppliers to understand how Radio Barcodes will deliver benefits throughout the supply chain, recently launching a Radio Barcode Supplier Working Group. Simon has also been working with industry bodies in the development of global standards for the technology. Simon has spoken at a number of RFID conferences around the world and has established himself as one of the world's experts on Radio Barcode technology within the retail industry.
