Speaker Biography (Chris Shire)Chris Shire joined Infineon (then Siemens) in 1998 in the Chipcard & Security business line with 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry. His current focus is on the finance and government markets for smartcards, and as been active on several government advisory committees helping to set the card standards for the UK, and support new security solutions. Chris has also been a speaker at seminars for the IET, Intellect, the UK Smart Card Club and is a guest lecturer on the RHUL Msc course on Smart Cards Company Profile (Infineon)Infineon Technologies Contactless Memory Products are being used everyday by millions of people within electronic tickets and access control systems, as loyalty cards and within brand protection schemes.
