Instrumentel initially applied its sensing technology, called IntraSense™, to condition monitoring of F1 racing car engines, but has since added actuation capability to create a remote locking technology called IntraLoc™. This new locking system provides a high level of security to containers by means of a novel, battery-less electronic lock and coded electronic key. Its unique selling point is that the "smart" container locks will only open or close within a designated area by a trained individual using a coded scanner. The system is designed for the supply chain industry and provides point-to-point asset tracking, as well as ensuring the accountability of all those involved in the supply chain process. The IntraSense™ technology is ahead of normal RFID technology, while the IntraLoc™ technology is unique in the market place with no known competitors other than those that provide anti-tamper packaging in various forms. IntraLoc™ takes security to a much higher level than this. |
