Speaker Biography

Jos Geboers qualified as an Electronic Engineer after which he took up a position with the Philips Research Laboratory in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, where he worked for a number of years on the research and development of semiconductors.
In 1978 he joined the Philips Semiconductors division where he was involved in the design of Integrated Circuits for applications in telecommunications, rising to the position of Application Manager for Telecommunication ICs in the Asian Pacific before his departure in 1994. He then founded ECCT BV in Eindhoven. ECCT is a company, which specialises in the development of telecommunication equipment and medical consumer electronic devices. In his capacity as Chief Technology Officer he leads a team of engineers in the design of telecom terminals and their innovative use in various application areas. In 2005 he co-founded The Compliers Group BV which is dedicated to the development of diagnostic-, telemedicine-, and consumer medical devices for use in objective therapy compliance measurements.
