A leading innovator and supplier of laser and ink jet technologies, Domino has established a global reputation for both quality solutions and service support. Domino's ability to successfully integrate coding technologies within a total track and trace architecture has positioned the company as a preferred supplier to many leading global manufacturers. The company specialise in providing variable data in the form of alpha/numeric, barcodes and more recently RFID, and applying this directly to products in industries such as food, beverage and pharmaceutical.

Simon spent 7 years with the Chlor Chemicals Group of Imperial Chemical Industries Plc (ICI) in roles ranging from purchasing to business development for chlorine derivative based chemicals.
 
He then moved to Domino Printing Sciences Plc where he initially spent time successfully developing business within a number of UK markets. This was followed by relocation to the company's Asian headquarters in Singapore where he spent 3 years managing distributor and direct business operations throughout the Asian region. Simon then moved to Japan as Domino's General Manager and after a successful 4 year period building this business he moved back to the UK to become Managing Director of Alpha Dot Ltd and Strategic Business Unit Director of the new Outer Case Coding business group.
 
Simon is now focusing on further developing Domino's product portfolio, with specific emphasis on emerging RFID technologies. He is intent on ensuring that Domino offers its customers workable coding solutions that fully integrate RFID on a global scale.
 
Simon has a BA (Hons) Degree in Business & Finance (Manchester University), a Diploma of Marketing (CIM) and a 1st Degree MBA in International Business Management from Royal Holloway (London).

Speaker Biography (Simon King)

Simon is the Director of Domino's Global Integrated Solutions Business Group, with headquarters in the UK and operations throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
 
With 15 years experience in the industry, Simon has managed a number of Domino's channels and run product based strategic business units. He is currently focused on ensuring that Domino is at the forefront of the developing Track, Trace and product authentication industry.
