Speaker Biography (Mark Wegner)

Mark Wegner is the Vice President and co-founder of Northfield Automation Systems, Inc. Until October of 1999, Mark served as a Process Engineering Manager as well as a R&D Engineer for Sheldahl. At Sheldahl Mark was part of a team revolutionizing the roll-to-roll flexible printed circuit industry. He was involved in seeking out new technology for future programs requirements to meet the higher tolerances needed for manufacturing flexible printed circuits. He's worked with films, foils of all types and sensitive product configurations. Mark has over 18 years of roll-to-roll engineering and heavy equipment manufacturing experience. He holds a BS in both Physics and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. As Vice President of Northfield Automation Systems, Inc. he directs a highly qualified team of mechanical and electrical engineers to design, develop and deliver quality automation equipment for customers specific process applications. This includes turnkey manufacturing lines to take customers from lab scale to full production capabilities.
