Sub-Networking RFID on the retail floor

Dr. Paul B. Rasband is Chief Scientist of Vue Technology (formerly MeadWestvaco Intelligent Systems). He worked in smart packaging research at Westvaco Corporation through the late 1990's and was co-founder of Intelligent Systems which MeadWestvaco launched through its New Ventures group in late 2003. Paul is a co-inventor of Vue's RF networking technology (RF routers and switches for large antenna network management), and has represented MeadWestvaco and Vue Technology in the EPCglobal Hardware and Software Action Groups. Prior to EPCglobal's creation, Paul also represented the company in the Auto ID Center. Paul has B.S. and M.S. degrees from Brigham Young University, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science from Cornell University.
