Tag Testing: From Design to Deployment

Dr. Voutilainen has been working with RFID technology from the beginning of 2001. He received his doctoral degree from Helsinki University of Technology in 2005, at the age of 25, and has since been a regular visiting lecturer in a number of universities. In 2004, Dr. Voutilainen co-founded Voyantic Ltd., a Finland-based company that specializes in RFID measurement solutions. He started as the CTO of the company and led the development team for the Tagformance measurement system. In 2009, he took over as CEO, and is now mostly focusing in new business development.

Voyantic Ltd. provides measurement and testing solutions for the RFID industry. Founded in 2004, the company serves tag manufacturers, systems integrators, RFID end users, and universities all around the world. The Voyantic Tagformance UHF RFID measurement system is used by more than 100 companies for routine tag design verification, application development, and tag acceptance testing. In addition, the Voyantic UHF Tester extends the same visibility to tag manufacturing testing. Voyantic takes pride in delivering full ready-to-use systems including the measurement equipment, software, accessories, and services.
