Speaker Biography (Mauro Morana)

Dr. Mauro Morana is currently in charge for the european research program on oBHJ morphology in Konarka. He has eight years of experience in organic semiconductors and device physics of bulk heterojunction solar cells. He joined Konarka in 2005, participating and managing projects in materials and device optimization areas. Previously he was scientist in Siemens Corporate Technology, researching on innovative architectures for organic photodetectors. He gained his PhD in 2007 with a thesis on physics and applications of field-effect transistors based on polymer:fullerene BHJs. He has a master degree in Electronic Engineering in Cagliari University, gained with a thesis on a-Si solar cells, done at the ENEA Portici research laboratories.
