Speaker Bio

Bill Roberts holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University, with 23 years of industrial R&D experience in the specialty chemicals and packaging industries. As a researcher with W.R. Grace's Washington Researh Center in Maryland, and, since 1993, Cryovac in Duncan, South Carolina, Bill's area of focus has moved from polymer chemistry to active and intelligent packaging. Current projects include traceability, temperature sensing, and product security/authentication.
