Speaker CV

Nigel Rix initially gained a honours degree in Engineering from Cambridge University and then stayed for a number of years at the University teaching and researching the application of microprocessors to industrial control.
 
For the last 20 years Nigel have worked in a variety of high technology product and service businesses in market sectors as diverse as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, GIS software, bank note design systems and RFID/security solutions. A characteristic of all these businesses has been products and services incorporating the latest technologies for new and emerging markets.
 
Initially He started as a technologist managing product development but now concentrate on business development utilising new technologies to solve real world problems.
 
Nigel is member of Institute of Directors, Board Member of AIM UK, Chairman of RFID forum at Chartered Institute of Logistics.
