![]() Speaker Biography (Andreas Pohl)After completing his studies in automotive technology and economics Andreas Pohl had started to work as a workshop manager in one of Daimler's branches in 1991. During his career he worked in Germany, Spain and the USA in the departments of service, sales, development as well as the department of production. From the year 2000 to 2004 his scope of work included a leading position to build a global key account management for international van clients. He also took the responsibility of launching the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in the U.S. Andreas Pohl became in 2004 the head of the alternative drive- and CO2- strategy for cargo vans and is since Mai 2009 the head of the battery electric drives and components for the Mercedes-Benz vans.
