Previous RFID experience included the management and implementation of RFID systems in transportation and supply chain applications. His current responsibilities involve collaboration with both end users and other technology providers to help define functional requirements for Intermec's RFID tag and inlay products and to ensure these products meet market demands. Bartos is active in the EPCglobal Business Action Group, where he participates in a number of work groups, including the Tag and Label Standards (TLS) work group and its associated sub-group for printers and applicators. Prior to his work in RFID, Bartos spent 13 years as a designer and program manger in the aerospace sector, where he participated in the development of numerous large-scale aircraft for both the military and commercial markets.
