Update on Concessionary Smart Card Ticketing in the West Midlands

After a 16 year stint with the Post Office that encompassed a variety of

roles - latterly projects focussed on automation within the network of Post

Offices - Catherine joined the Black Country Consortium.

 

For the past 3 years she has worked on the implementation, development and

growth of the Black Country Smart Card scheme. She now manages a thriving multi-

application scheme that is set to grow and widen scope considerably over the

next 3 years, not the least through possible collaboration with CENTRO on the

introduction of the concessionary smart travel pass.
