Speaker Biography (Gregory Nungester)Greg Nungester has been bringing electronic innovation to the consumer packaged goods industry for over a decade. With an electrical engineering degree from The Pennsylvania State University, Greg took his love of robotics and toys to Mattel to develop new and exciting remote controlled vehicles. Now at Crayola, Greg brings his electronic product development knowledge to develop engaging creative experiences for children. Marrying electronic technologies with chemical technologies has been very successful to the Crayola brand over the years. Company Profile (Crayola)From its earliest beginnings, Crayola has been a color company. We came into being when cousins Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith took over Edwin's father's pigment business in 1885. More than 120 years later, color - along with creativity, learning and most of all fun - is the benchmark of our company. Crayola has called Easton, Pennsylvania its home since the early 1900s. Today, the company's world headquarters and major manufacturing facilities are located there. In 1984, Crayola became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hallmark Cards and has since played the lead role in Hallmark's personal development strategies. Providing you with safe, high-quality, and age appropriate products is our top priority at Crayola. Since our brand's beginning in 1903, we've ensured that our products are nontoxic and safe. We appreciate the trust that parents, teachers and children have in Crayola. |
