Presentation Summary

  • Energy efficiency requires monitoring and diagnosis of electrical installations. The use of energy harvested wireless sensors is the most convenient solution.
  • Since the use of a standard for wireless communication is always appreciated we developed a thermal energy powered ZigBee sensor.
  • For a better fit to installations we develop energy harvested sensors able to relay messages.

Speaker Biography (Fabrice Roudet)

Dr. Fabrice Roudet got his Ph.D. on wireless communication in harsh environment in 2008. Dr. Fabrice Roudet is now technical project manager in corporate research department of Schneider Electric. He is the leader of a project to develop energy harvested wireless sensors for industrial applications and also represents Schneider Electric at ISO in RFID groups SC31-WG4-SG6.
