Half-day Insight Forum 2
Robotics
The worldwide market for robotics will grow to exceed $120bn over the next decade.
The robotics industry is on the brink of a revolution. For over 50 years the most commercially successful robots have been articulated robot arms used primarily in the automotive industry to manufacture cars. The biggest shift over the next ten years will be massive growth in mobile robots. This new breed of robots will transport us, deliver our goods, spray and harvest our crops, monitor our streets, fight our enemies and mine minerals not only on the planet surface but from the bottom of the ocean and potentially even from asteroids in space. Smaller but still substantial developments will include the proliferation of traditional industrial robots into countries currently manufacturing using human labour and also the evolution of industrial robots from dangerous machines that must be fenced off for safety to collaborative robots able to sit alongside human workers and contribute safely thanks to developments in sensors, microcontrollers, machine vision and artificial intelligence.

This insight forum will provide you with a full assessment of this complex and rapidly changing technology.
All of these sectors comprise of a complex and rapidly changing technology and market landscape, which can make it difficult to identify genuine opportunities for companies involved or wishing to get involved or to see the current state of play.
This forum addresses both the business and technologies involved - providing deep depth including significant market data to allow you to understand these complex landscapes. Attendees will leave with a clear, quantified view of the markets, technology assessment and development roadmaps, key player profiles and their strategy for market adoption, with lessons from success and failures.
IDTechEx
The forum is hosted by IDTechEx with research based on direct interviews with the key players in the technology. IDTechEx analysts are deeply technical (typically PhD level) and commercially experienced, conducting research from bases in Europe, Asia and USA in six languages.
This event is targeted to those involved in growth strategy, business development, research and engineering, innovation management. It is attended by companies involved in material supply, equipment manufacture, component and device manufacture, OEMs and systems integrators.
All Insight Forums will be conducted in English
Please see registration form for special forum packages. If your colleagues would like to attend, company discounts are available - please contact Corinne Jennings, c.jennings@IDTechEx.com for details.
