Battery testers (Glossary of Printed Electronic terms)

The label from Avery Dennison on Duracell batteries shown (front and reverse) is a very successful combination of printing electronics and laminating that acts as a disposable battery tester. They sell in billions for a few cents each. The tester consists of a thermochromic display on a screen printed thick film resistor circuit with screen printed conductive silver interconnects. Mactac has done something similar for Ever Ready.
