Presentation Summary

Following a brief introduction to NextFlex, America's Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE) Manufacturing Institute, and an overview of FHE technology, the speaker will identify applications in MedTech, where the technology presents new opportunities, but also new challenges, in the manufacturing of devices on flexible, conformable and stretchable substrates. FHE MedTech devices can be a game changer for clinical medical applications and can enable remote patient monitoring and telemedicine. The speaker will then provide an overview of the Human Health and Monitoring development projects currently underway by NextFlex members that will enable next generation MedTech products to enter the market. Finally, the speaker will describe manufacturing capabilities now being scaled up at NextFlex to support members and stakeholders for prototyping and pilot production.
