Dow Corporate Venturing (DCV) is the collective term for Dow's Ventures & Business Development, Venture Capital & Technology Licensing groups. In DCV we ensure that the innovation pipeline stays filled with new ideas and we manage a portfolio of technology and business opportunities that position Dow for growth. Michael's responsibilities in DCV R&D include Technology Scouting to identify emerging opportunities and Technical Project Leadership to analyze new technologies and quantify new market opportunities for the company. He has a background in polymer chemistry and engineering with a focus on opto-electronic uses of polymers and has received his Master and PhD degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands.
