Flexible Organic TFT Technology And Highly Accurate Printing

We have developed an ultra-flexible organic TFT with bending radius down to 2 mm fabricated with completely scalable process which is almost compatible conventional FPD process and applied to active-matrix electrophoretic displays. We will also discuss challenge to incorporate high-resolution printing process for future manufacturing process.
Speaker Biography (Kazumasa Nomoto)
Kazumasa Nomoto received Ph.D. degrees in physics from Keio University, Japan in 2000. In 1991, he joined Sony Corporation. His research activities has been concerned quantum dot, semiconductor nonvolatile memory，TFTs，flexible e-Papers and OLED displays. From 1998 to 1999, he was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA. He is currently Senior Distinguished Engineer / Chief UI Device Researcher in UI Device Development Division, Device & Material R&D Group in Sony, Japan.
