Both consumers and healthcare professionals want biometric data such as heart rate, blood glucose, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen levels, and weight. In this talk, Walt Maclay will discuss the many challenges in performing these measurements, along with how new technologies are dramatically reducing the cost of these sensors. Walt will also provide an overview of the current trends and challenges for these wearable devices like long battery life, accuracy, small form factor, and clinical performance.
